Millenium New Years Eve (2000) - Where were you?

Do you remember where you were, and whith whom, when the new millenium came?
I remember I was hosting a party with a friend, and we'd missmatched the combination of people and there was this embarrisingly quiet dinner when no one had anything to talk about... but it loosend upp in the end!

Yes I can still remember were I was, which is quite surprising since it was quite a long while ago now. I was in a pub across the road from my house and I was there alone because I had gone over to the pub about an hour before. I remember trying to send text messages to a few of my friends and also trying to telephone my brother to wish him happy New year. There was no opportunity of contacting or messaging anyone until around 12:25 because of the serious demand on the services at that time.
