I consider myself a computer geek you could say. I am one that loves the hectic way they keep me on top of myself. I like the ins and outs of the regestry hacks and all the system hacks you can do. I look it up on the net to see what I can do to make my machine run like I like it to run. The best web site I have ever found to do the hacks on my machine is http://www.pcstats.com/articleview.cfm?articleID=2238. This is 99 hacks for vista. I found that this site is great for XP tips and tricks too. Do you consider yourself a geek (someone that loves to hack the computer)? Or are you worried about messing stuff up and leave it alone? Well if you like to or not but need to fix those pesky problems with vista or xp this is the site you need to go to. Do you have any web sites that have tips you can share? Do you go online to find fixes for your computer?

I like using my computer. I want to understand how the fix them but I'm scared at the same because I may end up ruining it. If my computer needs fixing , I just reformat or get my dad's friend who knows a lot about them.

Hi Omfgbbqsauce and welcome to my lot. When I got my first computer I didn't even know how to turn it on. That was in 2thousand. I didn't have money to have someone else to work on it and I didn't have any friends that knew how to work on my computer. So I took to the web to learn how to do what I do now. I am not now afraid to try anything on them. I love learning new and exciting things. I have learned to make them run faster and smarter. I have learned to make them do what I want them to do. Nothing to be afraid of as long as you have the OEM (operating system disk). With that you can restore your computer back to how it was when it was new. Don't let it be something that scares you.

I think computers are great, they expand possibilities on many fronts of your life. For someone like me who is obviously a computer user but does not know exactly the ins and outs it can be frustrating when you are having problems, however.

Hi ATrain and welcome to my lot. Nothing to be frustrated about all the info you need to know is readily available on the net. You really don't even have to know what your looking for just the basis of what you need to find. Say you want your computer to speed up all you have to do is type in the OEM is and what you want it to do. Then you will have a variety of options. As long as you can sort of describe what you want done. It takes time and effort to fix them but you will learn so much. Have fun with it.
