I have been following all the debates of the presidentiables in Tv and in Print media, and i know that the questions thrown at them were carefully chosen may it be about the situation of the country, how to alleviate the situation of our poor country and many more but honestly i believe that whoever will be elected will never be able to crash down corruption because it is already part of a wrong system and whoever it is seated will just serve his own interest..like they always say...SARILING SIKAP. But just the same i will ask him this question : How can you sleep at nights knowing there are so many Filipinos suffering.

hello andak,
I am glad that you too are aware of these Presidential Debates. I am not sure how they answer the questions because most of the time, different questions are asked to them where it should have been the same for all candidates.
with regards to corruption, there has been no specific initiative on how to level it down, i haven't seen any good answers, including from the candidate that i favored to regarding this concern because they have NO IDEA who the corrupt official is.
check my topics, i got links on other debates.

"Do you believe that you can take the Philippines out of poverty on or before your term ends? if yes. What should we do yo you if you fail?"
As far as i can remember, no one asked this question yet. So i hope this will reach the presidentiables.
Cheers!

I would ask a crucial question:
What are your immediate plans after winning? Can you give CONCRETE examples of these plans? And finally, how will you battle corruption in government?
Presidentiables are always PROMISING about battling corruption but they fail to follow through with these empty promises. I hope this time around we will have a President who will actually do as he promises.

Hello hunterkim,
I have been watching the Presidential debates in youtube for quite sometime and i realized that this is really getting me interested even more to further see who is the best candidate of them. so far Gibo or gordon got detailed answers to their questions being asked. how ever, i have some questions with Gordon regarding some of his platforms with his education.
Questions like:
If Gordon is going to pursue this "kindle" like device to improve the quality of education, what will happen to the Publishers of books and writers who also contribute most of their knowledge in books. his proposal is so complicated with out pros and cons attached. he even said "you can't vote for me if you disagree with the kindle proposal" i like to vote gordon but this issue is conflicting for me to vote for him.

With all these questions being thrown at them at forums and debates, are these sort of reliable determinants of their abilities and knowledge in leading the country?

My questions would be;
1. How honest of you to yourself?
2. Do you have a "delecadeza"?
3. Do you have a word of honor?
4. What will you do if fail on your words?
5. Will you kill yourself if you fail if you have a delecadeza and word of honor?
and more....
Hehehe...lol!
