On feb.13.10 my cat chloe died, it was so hard to let him go and i didnt realize how much pain it would caused me. when i took him to the vet the day before, they gave me this huge cat bill just to run test on him and i didnt even care how much it would cost me to keep him alive.the morning of feb.13 i was told i had to put him to sleep and they handed me the bill of 750$ and said there was nothing they could do. I cried more than at my grandma's funeral.

My babies sure have. They have all cost more than their fair share, but I keep them because I love them. The last kitten I took in, Lucky, was a grand total of around $1,000. He had to have a check up, shots, neutering, declawed (he's an indoor cat), grooming, flea treatment, and all of the things a new kitten needs. Of course, I have spent just as much on my other three, so Lucky gets the same treatment. I have four cats altogether, and yeah, they aren't cheap.

i think pets kind of perpare you for kids just a tad bit!! there so expensive and even worst they dont talk so you never know if its really sick.. but at the end of the day when you have this huge cat bill,and you get this warm love from your cats you kind of forget about money problems. pets are so funny they dont care if your poor ugly rich or mean to others there so innocent and love you no matter what. good luck with your kittens i bet there soo cute

Oh they are, they are adorable. Lucky has the most beautiful blue eyes you will ever see. He is perfect.

Even me I will cry to see 750 dollars bill.
I'm sadden with your loss. 750 dollars is a big amount..

I'm sorry I have four dogs in our house so I'm not really a cat person.
..
but still a pet is a pet.
I have buried two dogs already.
And its sudden me twice I promise myself never to have dogs again. But look at me now I have four dogs. Because dogs helps us enjoy live. Somebody who won't judge you.

animals dont judge you can dont really care what type of a person you are, i dont want another cat at the moment but soon i will get one. animals cant take but u sure ca nrelate to them and they no when your happy or sad. i always find it cute when animals act like you. i do believe animals act and look like there owners some times

Losing pets is hard because you tend to get so attached to them. Knowing what greif can do to me i tend to try and not allow myself to bridge that fine line. I know a lot of people think of their pets as their children, but then when something happens.... you end up so devestated. I'm sorry for your loss, but I would've asked for a second oppinion before putting an animal down.
