My dad had a 1973 gold four door maverick with the stick shift on the steering column. It was an inline six and he drove that car for 250,000! I thought it was beautiful! Stood up well too. I wouldn't mind having one now. I thought the body style was cool too.

I don't know. That Maverick in your picture looks pretty hot and fast. The car I am talking about was an inline six with a 3 speed on the column. A little slow by your standards isn't it? I might be a bit naive here and you are kidding with me.

And my dad sold that car to the junkyard years ago. 250,000 miles remember? 8^) The body looked really cool though. I do wish I had it now. It would be an antique.

Man, i wish i could have some experience with this car. i really do. it looks so awesome, unfortunately never been in one, i don't think i've ever even seen a ford maverick in my country.
