As I have read on the newspaper according to the study by the Columbia University Medical Center, a lack of sleep among youngsters may trigger depression and suicidal thoughts. As adequate quality sleep could therefore be a preventive measure against depression and a treatment for depression. Do you encourage your children to go bed early? Or it's all up to them?

Hi Careguarden,
Inasmuch as we want our kids to sleep early and they are both in their puberty stage-- they sleep late. they have different sleeping habit my dear friend. both of them has autism and they are really hyperactive. but we always encourage them to sleep early avoiding foods that will make them hyper. i give both of them a massage to tone down their being active. and it helped.
