Favourite Movie Information or Review Site?

What is your fav site to check all the facts about your fav movies. Where do you like to read up on about upcoming movies?
I prefer IMDB. I think it is the most accurate and it always has the most info in my opinion.
Thoughts??

Like most people I use imdb for most things, including reviews. I've been using it for many years, don't go other places much at all.

Yes imdb seems to be the winner here. Most people seem to use that the most. I cant argue because it is very complete.

The only other site I use is Aintitcool. That's a good site to browse regularly for the buzz sort of stuff, the news comes to them before it's official and put on imdb.

Hmm Ive never heard of that site before. I guess though since I only mostly look up the older movies so they would already be on imdb. Its just a quick view for the right info. Thanks for the tip though with the new site. Ill try to remember it next time I wanna look something new up.

I prefer imdb too since it doesn't only have information on Hollywood movie, but movies all over the world. It has a lot of information on the actors- bio, age, whereabouts, trivia and more; it also has many useful things about movie like quotes, goofs, soundtrack and many other. I check on it daily...

I agree with you. imdb has the most accurate info out there for the most widerange of movie around the world.

I also like the internet movie database(IMDB). I love the extra info they provide you about movies that aren't even out yet. They have Transformers III info already. That makes me a happy women.

Yes i would say they are pretty complete when it comes to all movies new and old as well as actors and actresses.

I have a Netflix account so I am always on that site searching movies and maintaining my queue. I will usually look at reviews from other users on any film I'm not familiar with to see if I might like to see it. I also check Blockbuster once in a while but both of these sites are geared mainly to movies that are released on dvd.
I like the IMDB for the extensive amount of information they have, on new movies and old ones too. I use it all the time to look up an actor or name of a movie I can't remember or any other information I might need. I like the fact that I can look up an actor and see every movie they have ever acted in, directed, produced or anything else. They also have information on movies that are still in production or haven't even started production yet. Reading the trivia and nit-picks about movies is really fun too. It's a great site and a tremendous source of information for movie lovers. There are some other sites out there but in my estimation, none of them compare with the extensive amount of information on the IMDB.

I have never tried Netflix though I have heard of it. It seems to be a good review place for the current movies though.
I agree IMDB is one of if not the best movie information site out there. I also love that I can find all the information on actors and actresses. There even is sections with bios on the characters they played so that way you can really find out about a movie. To me it is just so complete and never disapoints me when I am in the need for info. Thanks for you answer.

imdb definetly is one of the most popular but there are other good sites out there like yahoo yes I have used it before and its not bad.

Besides IMDB, I usually check review site mrqe.com... its Movie Review Query Engine... its a database for movie reviews... In terms of upcoming movies, of course there's no better than yahoo movies...

Yes yahoo is always a great site too. i have never used mrqe.com. I will have a look at it sometime though . Thanks for the tip

I agree; imdb are excellent; I'll often check up on a movie there to see if it's worth watching; but wikipedia is also a good place to go for that; or amazon. Also, I'll go there after having seen a movie, to read reviews and so on.

Although I don't rely on the information given on website about the movies. But the website on which I sometimes check for information about movies is sky.com. It's not actually a movie review site but does show information on the new and also old movies. I have never used IMDB.

I have never actually heard of sky.com. Sounds cool though. I will ceck it out someetime. Well if you are ever looking for bios, trivia, mistakes, reviews or pictures for a movie I would definetly recommend IMDB.com It probabaly one of the best movie info sites. It has just about eberything you need for any movie you need to know about.

I use IMDB and also Pandora. I usually try to choose them just by the trailers too. Sometimes I like movies that are given a bad review and vice versa.

Hmm I have never tried Pandora nor heard of it so i will have to check it out for sure.
Yes I know what you mena though by sometimes the baly reviewed movies being better. Sometimes I just like to see what people think of them though and then give my opinion. Alot of the time I like movies that nobody ever likes anyways lol.

Yes I agree. complete it is. it has everything. Pictures, trivia, mistakes, reviews, basic facts as well as actor/actress and charactre bios. It even has a section for you to ask questions and people to answer them about the movies or actors.
