Has anybody found a site to read Obama's promised Health Care Reform Package? The Wall Street Journal, CNN, AP, and The New York Times all say it's on the Whitehouse site. But that site only has links that go to summaries from the Ministry of Propaganda Office of Information. No actual posting of a proposed bill. Anybody seen it?

How about right from the source... http://www.whitehouse.gov/health-care-meeting/proposal it isn't a "bill" per se' but a proposal. It will be interesting to see what sort of legislative night mare this turns in to. He already lost me with the manditory insurance requirement so untill thats out of it, I can't even look at the rest of it or supprt it.

Then they have to find a constitutionaly sound solution. And by that I don't mean hire a team of lawyers to twist, turn, distort and slant the constitution to fit their meaning, but find a solution that fits neatly in to the constitution. I don't have the answer, I wish I did, though I am still mulling over a solution, there has to be one. Some things are just too sacred to fool with and some slopes are just too slippery to risk traveling down.

I can pretty much guarantee that it is crap without reading it. The last thing this country needs is for the government to start running the health-care system. We have all seen how they have screwed up everything else they do, so do we really want them running our doctors offices and hospitals? I mean, that is essentially what will happen under Obama's plan. Obama is a fool...a vote supporting Obama is a vote supporting Socialism, and eventually Communism if Obama has his way...

You may or may not be able to guaranty it's crap before reading it, but wouldn't it be better to be able to PROVE it's crap by reading it? If it's a crap bill the arguments against it should and will stand on their own merrits and that is the sort of discusion I was hoping to have on this proposal. Let it stand or fall on it's own merrits or lack there of.

While I do think the present government has taken us into socialism. We cannot argue the merits of a proposal we have not read. It is important to be able to discuss the merits of the bill intelligently. You have to give everything the benefit of doubt.

Half of Obama's own party members won't vote for it, so that should tell you right there that it is crap.

Thanks for the links. I like the one with the comparison between the Senate bill and the President's latest proposal. Annie
