I have done this several times I get so bummed I am like you got to be kidding that was bad. I would have never paid to see this or bought it. I know I felt that way about hostel and house of wax. I just wanted to throw the DVD away. I believe I did actually or gave it away!

I've only bought DvDs in the 5 buck bin that I've never watched previously. That way if it was crap I didn't worrry about what I spent on it. Sometimes I will buy something higher priced due to the cast or Directors/producers, etc... and I think this really works out in my favor most of the time. Last time I bought somethign based on actors was "The Departed" and it ended up being owrth every penny and then some. Maybe I just have a good sense of what I will enjoy by reading the back of the box, who knows? :-)

Congrats pass on some of your mojo to me. I would love to not pick bad movies. I do this a lot but there is also a lot of movies I pick that I love. I never know till I see it.

In junior high, my best friend and I saw Groundhog Day. It was the worst movie ever. I paid for it. It pissed me off. I'm still annoyed that I paid for it. I still hate that movie.

I think everyone has done something like this at least once. Luckily for me I haven't had the misfortune of actually buying a movie that was so horrible that I was contemplating throwing it out. I can't say the same for my track record for going to the movies though. I remember this one time a group of friends and I went to the movies, we couldn't see anything rated R because two of the guys forgot their ID. I can't remember who it was but they said that they heard "Cursed" (with Christina Ricci and Joshua Jackson) was a good movie. So we ended up watching that and it was one of the lamest movies. It was so boring, we left halfway through to go to the arcade section, came back for the last bit and there was no improvement. A couple of us ended up falling asleep it was so bad.

I know what you mean. I bought 'The Producers' and it was an utterly terrible movie! Luckily, it was cheap. I didn't think 'Ultraviolet' was too amazing either after I bought it. :S

I haven't seen either of those. I will put them on a do not watch list lmao. I really hate when that happens because it seems like such a waste of money.
