have you ever done a random act of kindness or had someone be randomly kind of you?
Today I had just thought about it and someone had something to me that I thought was very kind of him. This happened like a year ago but I remembered today a lot for some reason.
Well what happened was I was at subway and I had gotten my sandwhich made and everything. Had no solid cash on me and my debit card was going screwy and rejecting me. So I am at the front of the line trying to pay and its not going through. I ask my brother to pay for it and he is no help he tells me no and does little stubborn kid routine. go figure little brothers gosh. All while this is going on the subway people finish like 5 peoples sandwhich's and they are ready to pay and I cannot pay for my meal. At this point i am deciding if I am just going to have to leave and they throw it all away or just keep standing here looking dumb. It was really embarrasing with like 10 people watching me get my card rejected. Just when I was about to give up and leave. This guy behind me decided to pay for my food. I was just shocked. I didnt say anything until after he had actually paid. I said thank you and that I was sorry. he told me dont be Ive been in your situation it sucks. I told him I would pay him back and he said its just a sandwhich.So I thanked him again and he left. I told my dad about it and he asked me what his name was.Then I remembered I had forgotten to ask. I am sure the guy would of liked to know that I was the son of the highest enlisted personnel on the base. But never found the guy again.
I usually do my best personally to help people because any act of kindness can change someones day. Like my small act of kindness is holding the door open or in traffic stop and let the guy who has been trying to get in for 10 cars get in.
so what you think of my story and my thoughts? and have you had any similiar situations or done any random acts of kindness? or are you the guy in my story?

We were out of work, my husband and I. I finally got a job and I was so excited. My first day of work I went and at lunch time realized I had No $$$, no credit card, no nothing. I was so hungry. I was working in a retail grocery store and a lady working gave me $10 to go buy me a lunch. I paid her back the next day. I had money at home, I had just forgotten to take it with me! Wasn't that nice of her?! I thought so.
Well, here I am again, out of work again. This year, I mailed valentines to all the older people in our church. The ones that are single or shut in or just plain lonely. If you pay attention you can see who they are. WEll that was 2 weeks ago and I still get THANK YOU's for those cards. One lady called me last night, long distance, to tell me thank you and that it meant so much to her.

aww that was really nice of you to send those valentine cards out. I liked that one a lot. Everyone appreciates something when people do something they don't expect =)
good job on that one keep up the good work on that. Hope you land a good job soon. I think you deserve it

I am hoping I get my old job back. I really loved it and I did do a good job. We had new management come in and they made changes, I was one of them. This is Michigan, there are no jobs out there that are full time with insurance and that is what I need.
