Tragedy or comedy?

Some people likes to watch comedy to have a LOL but others like Tragedy which makes people grief and cry.I perfer tragedies because people are have a trend to engrave them so the majority of the classic movie is tragedy from age to age.What do you think?What kind of movie do you like?

Well I ahve to say I am the most random person when it comes to movies. I like a little bit of almost every type of genre movie. However i seeem to like older movies better than the newer ones.
I often go for the drama section or old horror/suspense movies but I dont nessecarily gonna like many movies from those departments. I also like comedy too but not the stupid comedy that is out today I like the old stuff like in those 80s teen flicks.
If I had to pick my top fav movies they would be 1.Stand By Me - which is a Drama with adventure movie from 1986. 2. The Little Girl Who Lives Down The Lane - a horror/suspense thriller from 1976 3. A christmas Story - christmas comedy and family tale from 1983. As you can seen they are all over 20s years old and quite different form each other like I said random.
I guess I just go for whatever i think would be interesting no matter what the genre.

Well thats why I like the old type horror flicks. The ones that are more suspense and less blood and guts. i think a movie is better when it doesnt have all these special effects in it. I feel like the more of that fake stuff ruins the movie.
