I watched a lot of videos in youtube showing talking parrots. I found a parrot called Einstein and wondered how intelligent he is. I was really amazed! Then I read a lot articles about parrots and scientists claim that parrots are 10 times more intelligent than dogs. Wow, I didn't know it!
What's your opinion? Do you think that parrots are really smarter than dogs? And which one do you prefer and why?

hi my opinion is that while parrots are somew hat more intelligent than dogs, I don't think they are exactly usefule either as a pet or as a helpful creature , while dogs are really pretty smart, and can be trained to know when a diabetic is going into low blood sugar and signal her or him that he or she must eat something now. now a parrot can only talk of squawk and thats of no help at all. a dog can be a seeing eye dog, a lowblood sugar responder dog, a hunting dog and a retriever too.Can a parrot do that? nope I don't think so. I prefer a dog who can be my friend, and my
companion.x

Actually, I'm a cat person. But I like dogs and birds both. Problem with birds is that they often take too much care and there aren't as many veterinarians that treat them.

I believe that, because parrots can be taught to talk.I wouldn't want a parrot though, they are a hard pet to own. They need alot more attention than a dog.since I would feel over whelmed with that I would not own one.they need people that are devoted to them.I'd probably get in trouble because they are noisy too.I do love the way they look.they are beautiful birds but not just for everyone.
