Where have you taken a leap of faith in your life?

I am going to write a short story in relation to a part of two games that my husband and I are a fan of. You might know what I am talking about, Assasins Creed I & II? Well there's a part called the leap of faith...
My question though is the one above, Where have you taken a leap of faith in your life? How did it work out for you? Would you do it again?

The only thing I could say, that I did, that constitute a leap of faith, is when I moved up here in the northwest. I left my home, close to family. I left a good job, with good pay, and easy life. I brought my family here 7 years ago, without any prospects of a job.
The first year was really tough, as my education and work experience was not recognized. I had to do some menial jobs just to survive.
How did it work out? Not sure yet, but I'm getting there.

That is a big leap! I'd be very scared to move far away. My husband and I have talked about moving to Texas one day, but I don't think we actually will. We love it here, close to family. Going from a great job to doing menial work but making it WORK FOR YOU... and it seems like your doing pretty well!
Keep Up The Good Work!

Hello Cowgirl! I sure have and more than once. I did when I decided to leave my ex husband after only 6 months of marriage and at the time it was so scary but Im glad I did.
I also did when I started my own restaurant. I didnt know a thing about cooking or being in business. No regrets there either, I learned a lot and the lesson was to NOT go in the restaurant business again lol.
Then, 7 years ago, I had to leave my job because of back problems and it turned out that it was the best thing I could have done.

It sounds like everything worked out for you and you had some very good learning experiences. I've heard everything worth doing is hard, so your examples just goes to show...
Have a wonderful day!

I read the story you typed out and thought that it was a really good story honey. Now you know that I enjoy the game Assassin's Creed as well as Assassin's Creed II,I think that they are both two great games with fun and exciting story lines, and I know we kind of made a leap of faith when we moved in at grannies because we did not know how it would work out,and I would do it again because I love you and I know I can do anything with you by myself,I love you with all of my heart and soul.
