My husband is currently in a halfway house and he was able to get a pass and come home. He was only here for 1 1/2 hours and only got 1/2 hour whith the kids when they got out of school. It is very sad to me today, and I can see that the kids are going to act up tonight as they sense our emotions. Does anyone have good advise to give. Thank you

Bina your not looking at the long picture, when he does his time he;ll come out a better person and your life will change for the better, in 98 i spent a year in one, and am a better person for it. it's gonna be hard but time will pass quickly and before ya know it he be home and better, that doesn't mean he be cured and dont let anyone tell you he will, from now on it's gonna be a life long process for him and every day it will get easier for him, be there for him, he's gonna go thru tuff times, i wish you and your family well.

You are right. I tend to think of today and not tomorrow, probably just because it is a difficult situation. But thank you so much for the encouraging words.
