Is Iphone the nations #1 wanted phone?

Apple has had major success with there iphone. The reasons this product has succeeded was the app support. 50,000+ apps keeps the customers happy and with the price tag of at least .99 each app, apple has made tons of money. Now lets compare this with other phones. Is there any phone worth buying that has this much power? I currently own a blackberry and for basic stuff its nice but it lacks speed and a user friendly interface. So what do you think?

i phone is a nice phone but its not the nations #1 phone coz there are many features that are not available on that phone at that price.....

i dont think that iphone is number one phone or most wanted phone in any country. there are 10s of other models of phones available and i see people are still looking for slim, feature-riched, special models and other types of phones. i phone is stylish and is new so people are buying it to try this new phone but it is not the only one or the most wanted phone at the moment.

I think that people buy the iphone for the apps as there are so many to choose from. I don't have the iphone, but I do have the ipod touch which is liek the iphone. If verizon had the iphone, I probably would buy it, as it seems that everyone and there brother want to buy it. 
Verizon has the Motorola Droid though and it is just like the iphone from what I gather. I have seen it but never used it. I am hoping ot upgrade to maybe the droid or a widnows mobile phone. I am not to positive what to getr yet, as I still have awhile before I can upgrade. there might be a lot better phones out there then. Take care, and happy mylotting.
