when you are going to find information about a potential job opportunity, the first person you talked to usually gives you the first impression of the business, right? Well i went to this one company to get information about a job opening I heard about. while waiting in line, i listened and watched as this older man talked down to a pair of men who appeared to be hispanic. he kept asking them if they could speak english, read english, etc. and they kept replying yes. then he gave them a packet of paper and sent them away. so I was next to go to this guy and as soon as i stepped up i noticed he was eyeing me like i'm a child. i know i'm young, but i'm not that young. when i finally go up there he asks me if he can help me which i asked for the information i wanted. he then began talking really slow to me in a patronizing way. insulted, i just took the papers and left. now i hope the other employees are nothing like him, but i don't want to return. he's sullied my whole entire exprience with them. maybe i'm being oversensitive but he truly upset me.
