When you don't understand what your friends are saying half the time, do you feel like you missed out or you just don't share that common interest.

Yes, i often feel that way every time i missed a conversation. I guess it is but normal since i am not up 24/7 to monitor their activities but i don't take it against them because we are all friends and they share what happened when i do talk to them so i can relate to what they were talking about.

I just came to a foreign country. I am not good at this foreign language. After some practice, I can understand what my friends are saying. But I cannot say something about their talking. Because I speak too slow. I feel bad.

most of the time i feel like i missed out, and i just ask them to tell me the story or what happened so i can somehow relate and not to be out of place. if they're really friends then i bet they wouldn't want you to miss out what's happening in their lives. ^^ good day!

I think that all of us go through that. I just listen to what they have to say. I enjoy listening to there conversations. If you feel left out that's what you'll feel. There are just some things that your not good at.
