Should gays and lesbians be allowed into the armed forces?

Few days ago we listen many things about this homosexuality. There is many argument were happen regarding this matter. I want to ask one questions should they are allowed to get into armed forces...?

Gender preference should not be a hindrance. That's what I think. You or that person signed up to protect our country, and you deny that opportunity because you think that he or she has different preference. It doesn't make sense at all. We are all EQUAL.
