I think setting goals help motivate people if they stick to them. That's the hard part is sticking to a goal. Some people want things to happen over night and when they don't they give up.What do you think?Do goals in life help people?

Yes, goals are very important in life. They give you some structure in your life. It gives you a direction in where you want to go. Without goals, life can tend to be aimless and without direction. Basically, without the structure that goals off, you would be aimlessly stumbling around, struggling for a purpose and unable to completely focus on what needs to be done. However, it should be important to know that there needs to be flexibility. Even if you have a solid plan where you want to go, things can go not as planned. There needs to be some flexibility, to be able to work around the goals. Therefore, do not really get discouraged if a goal does not go as planned. Rather pick yourself up and try again.

Goals are to people what destination is to ships in the sea. Objectives can offer people with motivations and will encourage them in their difficult times, becoming the driving force to stimulate people with cheerful anticipations. If a person has no goals, his or her life would incline to be more confusing than others and the meaning of life seems not likely to be achieved with satisfaction. For me objectives play a very important role in my life.Quite ashamed but true that I am a rather lazy person who will procrastinate in handling work and study sometimes, but thanks to the goal and standard set for my future,I didn't delay everything. Some people hold that goals inflict pressure on men and undermine their health in an intangible way.Actually, pressure can be transfered into motivative force if one undertakes it properly. And goals are not set for fun as well as for the necessity, but what we grasp tightly in the hands and strive for a better life through it. So,my anwer is that we need goals,at least I do~Happy mylotting

Hello Java09! Going through life without any goal is like getting into a car and driving without any destination in mind. If you don't know where you are going, any road will take you there. If we don't specify exactly what we want, we have no reason to complain about what we get or where we find ourselves. Goals represent expectations, hopes and dreams, and to the extent our goals are achieved, we are successful. By setting and achieving worthwhile goals, we can give our life greater meaning and purpose. We will also find our work and personal life more exciting and fulfilling. Good day! :-)

yes i agree with you that goals motivate people but i believe what's important in setting goals in life is that we should have the spirit to achieve all these goals. if not, these goals are not goals, these are just dreams we cannot achieve. hmmm... goals help us in some ways like they can help us motivate and by setting goals we can define the targets we want to accomplished.

No,Goal in life doesn't help people to have time for relaxation and Yes,setting a Goal is always necessary. If you don't know what for you are living there is no point of having a life.Make a reason out of your life. This may be simple things like earning as much money as needed to set up a hospital in your village by the name of your mother who has passed away.Work for people, give them love all that you have, help them.Live for a broader reason.

Yes, that's in all motivational books, tapes, videos, movies, you name it. I haven't read and known a book that says its not. The reason is simple because its true, you need goals to know that you arrived, if you don't have goals there's no way you'll know that you achieved.
