Hours from now our Village was under fire. In my whole life it was my first time
to witness such catastrophe[em]sad[/em}.
My sister woke me up, she was so nervous... I promptly slipped out from the room
heading to the door outside. My fear burst when I saw the fire so close to the
towering house next to us. The black smoke were generously spreading... the
atmosphere around me was scorching I almost feel the angry fire. People were
running, calling from the streets. Many of them didn't know what to do. I begun to
tremble. I called my sister and commanded to secure our clothes... I was not
thanking of the other things anymore, I could not jsut even think the right thing
to do. I called the 911 but busy. Our neighbor's son approached me crying. His
parents was out for work, he and his grandma who aged around 75 were the only one
left home. With hands shaking I dialed her Mom... after then I called my brother
in the next village. Then the 911 came. By God's help, the fire stopped...
Until this very hour I and my sister were still shocked by the event... They said
it was faulty wiring, but not really sure.
[i]I share this with you as a sort of reminder that every one must be careful enough
for using something that may result to fire. And I guess this discussion is suitable enough for talking about good tips for fire prevention, steps to do before fire and during fire. I know many of you there can share.

[i]Thank you God for saving Us.

I am sure you were very nervous and scared for your life, your sister's life and the lives of your neighbors. I trust no one was hurt, and hope that all will be restored shortly. I am not really sure what to say about fire prevention and safety other then to be sure and check all appliances and plugs, to be sure and turn off the stove, and use proper caution when igniting a fire for a stove or fireplace.
As for safety, be sure to remember to stop drop and roll, to get away fromt eh fire as soon as possible and to call the proper authorities!

Thank you my friend... no one was hurt with God's help... 5 houses were burned because the fire men had stopped the fire from spreading the whole village. Thank you for the tips. Fortunately, I and my sister had recovered from it, now we are always looking for safety, unplugging appliance, and switching off the breaker when there is brown out....Thanks for the nice tips...
