When you are on the net do you feel like you are connected to something?

I know this probably is the weirdest question on here, but i will explain what i mean lol! When you are hooked up to the net, especially when you are alone in the house, do you that the internet is almost alive? (Now that sounds even weirder) Still not quite getting the point across. I think it's like (now i use this term a lot) collective conscience we all have, and the internet heightens that. When i lo off it's like leaving somewhere. Do anyone feel the same or am i on planet YAYA lol!

I've had that experience at times, usually late at night when I've been online for a lot of hours. It is probably (still) the effect of your perceptions of the online experience, but there are experts who believe it's a matter of time until the Net is sentient.

Oh, now i also know where i previously heard a similiar word- The Matrix. In the flim these A.I creatures called sentiens (i think) were trying to destroy Zion. Are you familiar with what i'm talking about?

I feel conected when i'm chatting with my friends and listening to some good music. I just forget about everything that's around me. But I have a alarm clock program here so when i have something important to do, it always reminds me. I tend to get distracted easily lol
