Worst Customer Service ever from LANCOME Paris!!!!

I used to love Lancome Paris but that was before I ever tried to return an item to them. Now my whole attitude has changed for the worse! I had purchased 2 items to gift at Christmas, They arrived so late that I had to purchase other items instead. I had purchased directly from their website and they require that all purchases form their website be returned by mail.
So I shipped it back and it was received at Lancome on Feb 1st at 9:20 am and as of today, they don't even show that it has been received in their system. BUT I did send it back via USPS Priority Mail and it was signed for so I can prove they got it.
Called today to check if it's being processed yet and was told to call back on Monday since they are running OVER 3 weeks before items are logged into the computer system.
After they are logged in they will process the return and it may be another 2 weeks till I get the refund. So now I'll have to check with my credit card company to see if that will work since they have a maximum time period for credits.
This is by far the worst service I have ever received from any company...and I'll NEVER ever purchase on their site again. Still having doubts that I'll get a refund without disputing it thru my credit card company. The gift set was sold out locally so I went online to get it, now I wish I hadn't!!!!
Sad really that in this day and age of companies pushing consumers to purchase via their websites that Lancome Paris is making this return a nightmare. It's over $100 so I will pursue it but my whole opinion of them and their customer service has changed.

Did they guarantee delivery before christmas when you purchased it?
What is this about your credit card company having a time limit on credits? Can't you call them and tell them to expect it?
