Water stains on granite / myLot

How do I remove water stains from reappearing on black granite. It gets an ugly white and I need a long lasting solution other than granite cleaner that doesn't do much of anything really.

I have never heard of water stains on granite. I have new granite counters so I guess I better learn how to take care of them. I did pick up some granite polish which I have not used yet so I hope it protects against things like water stains. I am search if we do a search on the internet we can find a place that talks about the care of granite countertops. How you search the internet for information about waterstains on your granite?

I too have new granite counter tops and by the sink area where water splashes often, it's turning white. I thought someone would be able to tell me from experience what they did. I've tried the granite cleaner and it really doesn't do anything for the stains.
