Going From $0 to $650 a month without spending? Really?

When we see these types of headlines or topics, I think it's safe to say that most of us scoff at the idea...BUT, it does spark curiosity, doesn't it? Here's a true story. You don't have to take my word for it because after all, this is the internet and the line between lies and truth is normally blurred. I can understand that, totally. This is a story that I'd like to share with you. Yes, again, it is true but for the purpose of anonymity, I'm not going to mention any names or whatsoever. Weeks ago, I had made a new online friend who also happens to be in the realms of internet marketing. She's about my age but she was already married. The unfortunate thing is, her husband was a lazy slob and she was the one pulling all the weight. He's jobless and drinks a lot. I really don't get why she married such a guy but then again that's beside the point. Anyway, so, yes, she's the breadwinner and bills are piling up. She wasn't even done with school yet, surprisingly. Because of her need for money, she turned a skill of hers into an online opportunity to make money, with ZERO cost. The skill in question is writing. She has always been great at articles and ghost writing, researching, etc, so she thought to make some money off of it. Her goal was to make at least $1000USD a month. That, itself doesn't sound very much to many but since she's from a developing country where the dollar to her local currency is significant, it was a great amount. After posting her Ads and classifieds all over the internet, she was able to net some clients in less than a week. So, they asked for sample work to be sent and that's what she did. She only charged a few dollars per article. In 2 weeks, she already had more than $200USD in her paypal account. Reason being was, many people responded to her Ad, in addition to that, they were very pleased with her work that they referred her services to others. Not long after, say, probably on the 4th week, a client signed her up for an offer to write weekly content for a fixed amount. By then, she'd have already reached over 650USD/month income, which was already in her paypal account. From there, it became rinse and repeat. In 2 months, she was able to get 3 regular/ monthly clients and she still gets order every now and then from referrals and previous clients. I asked her once about her work load and she told me that on some days, she gets to do up to 20 articles when orders spike. See, all this she was able to do at ZERO cost. She didnt spend money on websites. No monetary investments at all. Her investment was her skill and time. She worked hard, persevered and right now she's doing very well. What she's working against now is balancing time at university and time for her online work. I found her story to be truly inspiring and thought to share.
