When we see these types of headlines or topics, I think it's safe to say that most of us scoff at the idea...BUT, it does spark curiosity, doesn't it? Here's a true story. You don't have to take my word for it because after all, this is the internet and the line between lies and truth is normally blurred. I can understand that, totally. This is a story that I'd like to share with you. Yes, again, it is true but for the purpose of anonymity, I'm not going to mention any names or whatsoever. Weeks ago, I had made a new online friend who also happens to be in the realms of internet marketing. She's about my age but she was already married. The unfortunate thing is, her husband was a lazy slob and she was the one pulling all the weight. He's jobless and drinks a lot. I really don't get why she married such a guy but then again that's beside the point. Anyway, so, yes, she's the breadwinner and bills are piling up. She wasn't even done with school yet, surprisingly. Because of her need for money, she turned a skill of hers into an online opportunity to make money, with ZERO cost. The skill in question is writing. She has always been great at articles and ghost writing, researching, etc, so she thought to make some money off of it. Her goal was to make at least $1000USD a month. That, itself doesn't sound very much to many but since she's from a developing country where the dollar to her local currency is significant, it was a great amount. After posting her Ads and classifieds all over the internet, she was able to net some clients in less than a week. So, they asked for sample work to be sent and that's what she did. She only charged a few dollars per article. In 2 weeks, she already had more than $200USD in her paypal account. Reason being was, many people responded to her Ad, in addition to that, they were very pleased with her work that they referred her services to others. Not long after, say, probably on the 4th week, a client signed her up for an offer to write weekly content for a fixed amount. By then, she'd have already reached over 650USD/month income, which was already in her paypal account. From there, it became rinse and repeat. In 2 months, she was able to get 3 regular/ monthly clients and she still gets order every now and then from referrals and previous clients. I asked her once about her work load and she told me that on some days, she gets to do up to 20 articles when orders spike. See, all this she was able to do at ZERO cost. She didnt spend money on websites. No monetary investments at all. Her investment was her skill and time. She worked hard, persevered and right now she's doing very well. What she's working against now is balancing time at university and time for her online work. I found her story to be truly inspiring and thought to share.

HiWhat you have shared is not really impossible. I just saw this video on Youtube about why some people fail to earn online. Just like your friend, who has earned my respect , hard work does come a long way. There are so many things that the Internet offers. And one of them is the possibility to earn money. Article writing is one of the them. Your friend has the right attitude and passion in doing what she does. And that's why she is successful. Whatever amount she's earning, she deserves it. The video I've seen said that one of the secrets of success in earning successfully online, is the passion to do it. I also do articles for a particular site. But unlike your friend, I still haven't reached that stage of determination and passion. So, what I earn from my articles is not really enough to help with our bills. Your friend's story of success is one great inspiration.

Hey there. It just goes to show that anything is indeed possible :-) It starts with the right attitude, hard work and yes, passion, too. Without it, I don't think she could've sustained her energy and drive because, really, 20 articles a day sometimes? That, to me is overwhelming! And I actually like to write, too! Well, maybe not as much as she does. Best wishes on your online ventures as well. I hope you scale it up and earn more :-)

Good luck to both of us! I can hardly finish 5 articles in a day. But to accomplish 20 articles within 24 hours will always be a big proud moment for me.

Why should we not believe in your story? If you are willing to work and to work hard it is possible to earn what you need through the Internet. I do though wonder if she also have a real fulltime job on the side? I have just recently started up with writing also for my online business activities, so now i have even more things which im working on and getting more skilled with.

things are so easily coughed up on the net these days. That's why some won't easily believe these things. She doesn't have a day job to add to her income. She just goes to school and does this online work on the side. That's her main income really.

I believe it. I write online for A.C. and find freelance work from Odesk and stuff. I can typically make 20 to 50 bucks a day if I'm really trying, but I get lazy. Thanks for sharing, by the way.

Thanks for the comment :-) Many would kill to make 20 to 50 a day online but yes, sometimes it's just consistency that kills it...and boredom. Best wishes

Nice story and it is believable. Content is in HUGE demand online. The only thing about the kind of freelance writing work that she does is that it could end up demanding a lot of here time, and she may get overwhelmed at times. But other than that it can be a steady and reliable source of extra income. Congrats to her!

Thank you for the comment. I was honestly blown away when I was speaking with her because really, she put so much time and effort in writing but as the saying goes, "hard work pays off". In her case, it does ring true. I think it's also an added bonus that she's actually very courteous and she has a pleasing personality that gives her clients a certain comfort level in dealing with her. Customer service does bring in great, loyal customers after all. Will surely send her a congratulatory note. Best wishes.

Well, looks like we have our first skeptic here. It's not too good to be true and it's not even a website that's paying her that much if you'd read the whole article through. Well, as I said, believe it or not, this is the internet. Best wishes.
