What do you feel when a stranger looks at your Girlfriend/Boyfriend?

I was on a public vehicle when a strager looks to my girlfriend. I feel uncomfortable and a little bit irritated. I even want to give him a hit to the face but I don't want to be scandalous so I hold my temper since we are on a public place. I just told her to ignore that.I think we are disrespecting people if we do that. Its not bad to admire someone, but I think its a bad thing on that kind of situation. There are also times that I look to a girl even she is with someone. But I manage not to look again because I fell guilty and I don't want Karma to strike back to me...
