I don't know why but I have nosebleed flowing the last few days.Especially when I washed my face in the morning.I have seen a doctor, and he prescribed some medicines to me.But I don't think those medicines can work. Have you ever had a bleeding nose?Did you see the doctor when you were in nosebleed flowing trouble?

Epistaxis may result from the rupture of tiny vessels in the anterior nasal septum. This occurs most frequently in early childhood and adolescence. In adults it occurs more commonly in men than in women; may be severe in elderly persons; may be accompanied by respiratory distress, apprehension, restlessness, vertigo, and nausea; and may lead to syncope. I experienced epistaxis when i was a child due to prolong exposure to sun and the humidity of my environment. Usually it happened during summer. When my nose bleed i don't seek for Physicians advice because it happen only once. When my nose bleed i usually put cold pack on my nose bridge and clean my nose with cotton buds after. You have to limit your activity, avoid milk and hot liquids. Do not tilt your head because the blood back flow(thought by our clinical instructors). Apply a water-soluble gel with a cotton swab gently to the mucous membrane lining the nostrils. Anyway, did you undergo laboratory exams? After a week of using it did your Physician advice you to come back for follow up check up? If the medicine didn't work you have to inform your physician. I think something wrong with you. If you feel dizzy and fainted several times you might suffering from acute/chronic anemia. Better undergo lab test to check your RBC and WBC before it's too late.

I've had a bleeding nose a few times during my life and in all of these cases it was caused by an accident - a hard hit to my nose or something. I've never had any sudden nosebleeding, that just starts with no reason. My nose doesn't start to bleed very easily. It must receive a really hard hit in order to start bleeding.

I agree with the other posters here. Vitamin C is known to strengthen the walls of your capillaries, so you might want to try adding some of this to your diet. It is water soluble so you cannot overdose on it, but too much (several grams) can give you loose stools. Vitamin C can also help if you tend to bruise easily, for this same reason.

I never had a bleeding nose before. When I was a child I always think that having your nose bleeding is pretty cool. All the attention are on you and I like watching the blood running down the nose. That was back when I was young. Now, I can't imagine having one maybe i'd faint when I see the blood.hahaha History I don't really know if you need to go to the doctor because the people I know did go to one. If it's happening a lot of times then you should go consult a doctor.

Though I have never had the trouble you met,I think there must be something wrong with your nose. You'd better follow the doctor's indication to take the medicines.Wish you good luck,my friend.

When my sinuses get really dry, especially this time of the year, I do get nose bleeds. To help the problem, I use saline nose spray to help keep my sinuses a little more moist. THis seems to help me. It has also proven useful for my kids. I have not ever seen a doctor for a bloody nose, and I wouldn't unless I thought that there were something serious going on. I have dealt with it enough that I think that I would know when it was more than something that I could handle myself.
