Wow! A double full bow rainbow all the way home. Amazing! And I did not know that when there's a double rainbow, the colors reverse. Did you? Did you learn any other cool facts today?

I haven't seen a rainbow in a long time. Ilearnt about the double colours reversing when I was at school many moons ago and saw several then too. The best rainbow I ever saw was from the cockpit of a plane years ago when my son was small. It was a circle between us and the ground below. Nowhere for a pot of gold there as there was no rainbow's end I did learn a fact today but it's difficult to explain. Let me just say that if the time ain't ripe, things won't happen (and I'll explain what I am referring to one day next week ).

Yes I did! When I responded here I was going into panic mode as nothing was happening though her time was up. For nine months it seemed that every day was the day, and when it did arrive she went past it

Most interesting rainbow I ever saw was after the sun had set. It was mostly all read. Hm, and I see you posted a discussion today.

And the smart aleck in the house goes, "of course, it's obvious"... I think I'm going to put something "obvious" under his pillow..

hi dawnald I saw one just once and it was pointed out to methat the colors reverse, It was a gorgeous site, I learned a cool fact today, that is that some cardiac specialists have found that du ring that first heart attack, if they can cut off the flow of blood in one arm for awhile it sort of jolts some mechanism of the heart to protect the heart and aid in restoring oxygen to the heart. Oneof our mylotters made a discussion about this and let all of us know.Who knows , this might become something that paramedics could use in an emergency situation. I thought that was pretty cool, also today I found that the missing pill that I had not been getting for almost a month was restored, and was my iron pill. i was so afraid they had stopped giving me the baby aspirin that helps prevent heart attacks but no it was my iron. Iron is important to me in that I am always a lousy borderline anemic for some reason but to me the baby aspirin seemed a lot more important. But now with my iron supplement back maybe I won't feel so tired all the time. anemia does do that to you.

Yes, it does. Why weren't they giving you your iron pill?

Lovely pics Dawn. I remember hearing/reading that about rainbows many years ago, but I had forgotten. I learned a cool fact several weeks ago. I had a fasting blood test to "get my sugar levels for the last 3 months". I asked the doc how that could be since I hadn't had one 3 months ago. I was amazed to be told the blood cells contain a 3 month history! Isn't that amazing?! (by the way, the result was in the perfect range)

Very amazing... Maybe that's why I had to go without certain foods for three months to get my body to stop reacting to them.

The best rainbow I've seen was in Indonesia, a double full bow rainbow from a distance, on the sea, in scorching sun :D The rain clouds did not reach the boat I was on so the sun was beating down on us, but you could clearly see the long double rainbow stretched across the sky. I don't have a photo of it though, figured that no photo could do it justice, you just had to see one yourself :)

there's a line in a song that goes this way... "it never rains in southern california"... and that's the first thing that came to my mind when i saw your discussion topic. well, regarding double bull bow rainbow, this is the first time i've heard about that... the only side stories i got to hear about rainbows are that there is a pot of gold at the end... which end, i certainly have not heard about that in the stories... well, dawnald, rainbows are what we make of our lives when we are happy...
