Do you promote a blog post right after it's published?

Or do you let readers find your content on their own? What's your strategy?

Depends on the content. Sometimes I broadcast it to my friends/followers. I also post updates on Facebook. Most of the time (if it's not a time-sensitive topic) I just let readers find it on their own.
