Hello! This is meant to be a funny topic, not a topic to get anybody upset over the contents it provides. If you are going to get mad if you see your state listed here, please just don't read it. Discussion: Which state has the worst drivers, in your opinion? In my personal opinion I've noticed that Ohio has the worst drivers. I live in Florida and learned to drive in Florida, therefore I drive like a Floridian! Almost every time I see someone driving extremely slow, or driving like it's their first time behind the wheel I've come to expect the person to be from Ohio. And... They generally are! It's something that my friends and I have noticed - even my parents. Today, for instance (the reason for my first discussion here at myLot) I was driving through a parking lot. A woman backed out of her parking space -right- in front of me, when I was already really close. After slamming on my breaks I saw her plate: Ohio. I immediately thought to myself, "Oh, she's from Ohio," and dropped it. I left the parking lot behind her and we both turned the same way. Upon turning out of the parking lot she gets into her right hand lane and I stay in the left. Out of nowhere she flicks on her blinker and swerves across both lanes of traffic and almost side-swipes me! I must have been in her blind spot once she got into the middle lane or something because she kept coming over. I had to slam on my breaks (again) and honk my horn this time. The same lady almost made me crash with her twice within 3 or 4 minutes. And she was from Ohio. My friends and I don't even get upset if an Ohio person is driving slow (or badly) anymore - it's kind of like an excuse. We can't blame them for learning to drive there. We just look at each other and say, "Oh, they're from Ohio," and then it's excused. Simple as that. :D
