Help, I have an exclamation point beside my comments and I don't know why!

February 27, 2010 3:20pm CST
I notice that there is now an exclamation point beside every one of my comments. Have I done something wrong? Am I right in that they are for reporting abuse? Well, I haven't written anything that could in any way be construed as abuse. I'm new to myLot and I think I must have inadvertently done something wrong. Does anyone know how I can find out why it's there and how I can get rid of it?

Until recently it wasn't possible to delete something once you had posted it. It still isn't possible to delete anything yourself but it is now possible for you to ask Admin to do it for you and this is what the [!] is for.

Does that mean that you need to attend Anger Management, Dawn?

hi louisefrank we all get these beside our comments as we cannot rate ourselves plus or minus so the plus and minus signs do not appear on any of our posts, just the exclamation point. so no its not anything you did or is just on yours. it is on all of ours and I think it may be there for instance if we have inadvertantly made a double comment or had a repeat on our responses, we can then if we want to, report that we had a double comment or a double response. no its not anything you did wrong.these belong there , we all have them on our postings too so do not let it bother you.

Thank you, Hatley. I'm gradually getting to grips with everything and you have helped.
