I was watching the news, saw and heard that our province was one of those that were affected by red tide. I hate when this happens. I love eatng sea foods. But for now our environment is like really, really angry... The weather is too hot that the fishes were floating and dying... And in addtion to that the people, we, are scared of the tsunami warning...

Hi there vycess... I'm sorry for hearing that kind of situation from you... Well, in my case, I am not too aware and affected by it because of the fact that I don't eat too much of seafoods... ^^ Well, as of your case, I do hope that it would end soon and I do also hope that no one would get health-affected by the Red Tide...

With regards to Red tide I guess it is only the seafoods like sea shells, crabs and others that are affected by these problem. Some other fish are not affected by it. I guess the extremely hot temperatures are causing this plus the pollution that we are sending to the seas makes these red algae bloom and affects other species like they are being protected since they become poisonous to us humans. As with the Tsunami warning I think we will be spared from it since Hawaii who is expecting them did not get any. But I think that we should still be alert since they expect to reach us within the 21 to 24 hour period before we can finally say we are really spared from it.
