Going to college to get your M.R.S instead of your M.B.A.

I thought it was an archaic belief that women go to college in order to find a suitable college boy to date then marry after he graduates. Sounds like something that would come from a classic romantic comedy or something like that, in my opinion. However, it still occurs now. I have met so many girls who's only reason for attending an university/college is to find their future husband. There was even one girl who I met that was engaged to a guy who she met her first year in college. They went out for a couple of years then became engaged. Happy, she dropped out of school and prepared for her wedding. However, the guy decided he was too young to get married so he broke up with her. The next semester, she re-enrolled into school in search for another future husband. I kind of perplexed by this. What do you think?
