Coupons Via Text Messages!

i am loving this! arbys in my area (i think everywhere) has it to where if you join their club they will text you coupons! all you have to do is show your cell phone with the text up and you get it! i was skeptical at first but after it working multiple times at arbys and getting a free sandwich if i buy a drink im loving it! i havent tried other places but there are ones that give you free movie rentals and etc and more sites are offering it as an option if you sign up for their newsletter..
have you gotten into this new trend of savings? where you get text coupons? how do you like it? have you ran into any problems?

I don't know if this trend has hit Canada yet. It is a neat idea, but I am a little afraid of giving out my cellphone number. I know it's free to receive texts (for me anyway) but I guard my cellphone number with my life, because I only want it for emergencies.

i used to but now that i get email on it too then its not much of a bother to get a few extra texts.. i just have the sound to where it only makes noise if i get a call
