How much do you make writing online each month?

I write for sites like Suite101 and Associated Content and average a few bucks a month, but I'm curious to know how much other writers make on average. I don't submit many articles, so I'm happy with my pay, but how many do you usually publish and how much do you end up earning?

Lately, I have not really been submitting anything as it is so hard to earn much from anywhere anymore. I actually have notebooks full of stuff I would Love to submit sometime somewhere, but want to get paid more than just hits on it as well. I have never tried Suite101, but have done AC a couple of times. I guess overall it really depends on time, and what works best for people as well.

So far, the only site that I made a decent realm of money on was Ciao, before it switched over to only UK customers doing reviews. I do write for E-how, Triond, Associated Content and Texbroker... This is my first time writing for Texbroker so I am waiting to see if my articles are accepted and approved. If so that would be a score of $10 for about 8 hours worth of work, but I'm admittedly a perfectionist when it comes to writing articles. I've not made a penny from AC or EH, and in two years, I've made a whopping $5.xx from Triond. When I could do Ciao, I made several hundred dollars a month. Now, I make an average of $10, but it's time consuming.

It all depends where you write and what you write. There are sites like AC that pays upfront. That is when you are a U.S resident. I write for orther sites and together alls adds a good side income.

Hello. Writing is my favorite hobby too, since my high school days. I have been writing articles, reviews, short stories, online for different sites. I enjoy that. And, I make about thirty dollars a month on the average. That was when I had the time for that. These days, just a few bucks a month, just like you. Have a nice day !

Hello, Theweerouss. I used to write for two or three sites, but now I concentrate on Helium. I've been a member for over two years, and not done very much there, but I decided to put some effort into it last month to see how I did. I averaged 1 -2 articles a day, although I already had about 170 up there. I earned just over $50 in February for page views and upfront payments. I was delighted with that, and it's spurred me on to do even better this month. Once you figure out how Helium works, it's a great site to write for, and they pay up on the nail.

It really depends on how much I really put into it. Most months when I write for DS for upfront pay I make enough to pay my car and insurance. The last couple of months I haven't had time to put into DS. I've seen my various revenue share accounts (blog, Suite, Bukisa, etc) add up to a little less than $10...When I'm writing for money, I don't put the time into passive income streams. Revenue share is just too quantity-intensive and time-intensive to see a real financial return in the short-term.
