What do you do when you find out there's a fire the next door?

I could recall when we were younger and the neighbor's house caught on fire. My uncles went to the roof to help put out the fire while waiting for the fire squad to come. I could remember us kids being led by my older brother giving us wet towels to breathe on. He was quite ingenious to remember doing that when he was just a year older than me. While my aunts were crying and some of the people panicking. What do you do when you find out that there's fire the next door?

I remember that when our old house in the provinces caught fire, instict just set in and you have to do everything to secure yourself then your personal belongings. I really do not know how I was able to bring out my strength that I was able to carry the car out since I left the keys inside the house and it was on handbrake so we could not just push the car out so we have no choice but to carry it outside top avoid it from getting burned. we were able to lift it up several meters away to safety. After that incident I felt really weak and tired that I felt I am gonna faint. I never felt that kind of strength anymore in my life.

What cause the fire? normally house would easily burn if the house is plainly made of wood. it's not easy getting out of the fire but at least you did or you wouldn't be here along with us lotters. life safety is the most important thing not the things that you have, you can always buy new stuff.

Oh well you I have a drunkard grandfather that caused it all. I wanted to forget that memory actually, it has been a long time ago and one of the saddest parts of my life. I just graduated from college back then and this happened.

Hehehe.. It's called adrenaline rush. I've seen it in action. My uncle was able to lift the whole refrigerator during the fire.

hellop laydee, I remember when i was in grade 6,we were warned by a neighbor to close all electric appliances and switch but we didn't listen and ends up a brown out. when we went outside, we saw this huge fire in the market blazing through the sky. no doubt it went on fire because back then it was just made of wood and any forgotten candles may have slip down and cause the fire. now, it's a bit more cemented and secured with a barangay out post on the side

if theres fire next to my house then of course i will start to pick up my stuff and put them outside. i need to pickup the most important things in my house like jewelries, money, important documents, few clothes and other stuff while the fire is still not in your house. but first and foremost i need to call for help first like fire truck and ambulance in case theres someone that hurt.

As far as I am concerned, I think if i know that there is a fire the next door, I will try my best to make the fire die out. If I do not have the ability to make the fire die out, I will call the police to make the fire out. No matter who will come or not, I think I will be there all the time, till the fire is out, which can give a lot fortune.

in those situations the first thing that will come to my save if is to do something to save anyone struck inside and tos top the fir . i may first call the fire engine and then the electricity board to cut the current since the fire may spread if their is electricity . and then i will go and try something to stop the fire ,.

Recently there was a bush fire burning behind my house and I made sure I called the fire brigade as soon as possible.Granted it wasnt really a threat to my property yet and if it was the next thing I would do would be to secure my valuable documenats like passport ,identifcation ets and next any money and clothes .If I have time I would try to secure appliances.Last but not least I would try to find a way to stop the fire before it entered my premises maybe by hosing it down or applying some kind of damper or buffer

I will probably panic at first, but after a while when reality sets in, I'll immediately call the fire station. If it's a big fire, then I'll save my large collection of books and CDs. These are my treasured possessions and I wouldn't want them to get wasted in a stupid fire. I hope more and more people will be more cautious so that these kinds of tragedies don't happen.

I will check first if there is anyone in house. Then go out to the house. And call for some help. If my neighbor need some help, I will give hand for them and also call firefighter.

Yell to ask if there is anyone there. If they are fighting the fire i would get a bucket and fill it up at their sinks and use blankets. If the people are trapped I would try to get them out and call the fire department. If there is no one there I would simply call the fire department and be done with it.
