My husband can't eat shrimp he is allergic to it. But he can eat other seafood. Like muscles, crab meat and fish. Some people can't eat any of it because of being allergic to it. If your boyfriend isn't allergic to shrimp I doubt he will be allergic to the rest. I can eat any of it.

Strawberrybaby39 has a good advice, try it. But your boyfriend can try small amount of shrimp & observe the effect he will have an allergy to it. I hope he can eat shrimp w/o allergy.

My husband has tried the shrimp and his body reacted to it. That is why he can't eat it. But most of everything else he can eat without having a reaction to it. Sometimes things can be strange why you can eat one thing and not the other. But it can happen.

If your boyfriend doesnt have a history of being allergic to shrimp then he shouldnt be allergic to crabs or lobster. All creatures are crustaceans they belong to the same group. You need not to worry about allergies because it wasnt evident in his case before. Just enjoy your time with him and enjoy eating the crab and lobster.
