We have a debate way back in college where in, I have to justify that mercy killing is not an immoral act. I done research for this to support my side and to make mercy killing look good. But in real life situation, I'm againts it...how about you? What's your side and how will you defend it to other people if you have too?

This is a very touchy question. Killing out of mercy usually to end up a person's suffering is still killing. It is really very very difficult if the situation applies to someone very close to you. I believe God has a reason for everything, so i think the more that we should trust in Him in this situation. He has given us a life that He alone has the right to take "when" and in "what way" He wants it.

All the argument lies in the degree of suffering. When all their attempts to relieve pain fails, the doctors apply Euthanasia. Moreover, even if the person is not killed,he's sure to die. It's better to release him from unbearable suffering.
