LeBron James free agent

Anyone heard the rumours about LeBron James???, I'm sure you know that his contract expires this summer, well there are growing rumours that he could sign for the Lakers as a free agent as he is a huge fan of Phil Jackson and wants to be coached by him. As a Lakers fan this would be incredible. Can you imagine Kobe and LeBron on the same team???????? They'd have a good chance of winning 75 games a season.

I am undeniably a Lakers fan but it's more because of Kobe Bryant being in that team, so I guess I won't be too happy knowing that if this rumor were to become true, Lebron would no doubt easily replace Kobe's superstar stature in the NBA. I bow to Kobe's greatness but I cannot deny the fact that Kobe is older now and Lebron is quickly taking over the spotlight. I have nothing against Lebron though, I think he could be better and probably another best of his time player but I still want to see more of Kobe's until maybe two more seasons.

The talk is that the two of them would sign for less if this actually happened as Kobe Bryant can sign a new deal just like Pau Gasol did earlier this season. It would be unreal to see both in the same team.

It's highly unlikely that either or both of them would settle for less pay.

Think about it, They would receive even higher sponsorship from Nike if they were on the same team. If LeBron James chooses that he wants to join the Lakers then of course they could do a deal.

Well not know Kobe Bryant has signed that massive $89.6m 3 year deal. It would have been amazing to see them together but it seems like he is swaying towards staying in Cleveland but all options are open until he signs a new deal with them.
