Do you remember your first real friends?

What in particular do you remember about the friends you went to grade school with? Do you remember who they were and what they did that made them special? Is it someone you still keep in touch with? Did you grow up together? I have lost touch with most of the "kids" I had as friends, and now I wish we had all tried herder to stay in touch. I do still remember names, though! And the 'trouble' we got into!

I thought I found my real friends when I was in elementary. There were 3 of us but the other one transferred to another school so we didnt get to spend more time with her and there was only two of us left. When we were in the 5th grade, a new student came to our school and she became our friend but after a few months it was only the two of them going out together and they exclude me and didnt include me in their plans. I know I didnt do anything bad to them. I didnt know why they did that and we ended just as classmates not as friends though we were really friends before. I found friends in high school and that was the time that I was able to tell for myself that I have found myself real friends because until now they are always here for me.
