It wasn't my iPod touch, but one belonging to a cashier at Second Cup. I saw it on the table and asked her if it was an iPhone. She told me it was an iPod touch, and I asked if I could look at it, specifically the keyboard. I didn't have time to go on line and stuff, but I figured out two things. 1) Even if I can't type with 10 fingers like I do on a computer, I can manage the keyboard. It's sensitive enough that the tip of my fingertip will activate the keys. I was able to type a sentence, and made NO MISTAKES. So I can use the keyboard, and see the letters. 2) I am very very very very very NEAR-SIGHTED (legally blind), and was worried I would not be able to see the screen or anything else. I hope things close to my face, and often have to lean in to see my laptop. Think logically. The closer something is to the face, especially to the face of a near-sighted person, the larger the item seems, so holding an iPot Touch as close as I told a book, and I can see it perfectly!!! The colours and details were very nice. I was able to see all the icons, and picked out some I recognized, such as The Weather Channel, Facebook, and a few others. I'm sure the new apps I'll load into my future iPod Touch will be recognisable in no time. Bottom line, I actually got my hands on one, and LOVED IT!!! Anyone else on here look into buying a new electronic device, new car, or something else, that you had the chance to test first, thus making your decision easier? Did this test make you want to buy it more, or did you change you rmind and decide not to buy it?

I've been following all your discussions on the subject but not commented because I don't know anything about them. If you can see and read the screen, I guess it's pretty clear.

Thanks for jumping in here. If you can't give advice from experience, opinions are ALWAYS welcome. :) I've been known to offer opinions on things tht seem interested to me, even if I can't give any "real advice." Heck, opinions help too. Thanks again for yours.

I have an ipod touch, and it is easy to use and fun. I don't use it everyday, but when I do use it, I end up playing games on it until the battery drains. When I first got it, I did post a respons to a discussion on it, but it took something like 30 minutes to do. At least I was able to post even though it took longer than I thought it would. It does a good job though, and so I can also use it post along with my cell phone. I am all set to go pretty much, and I like that. The ipod touch has lots of apps, and when I use the apps store, most of the time I can't decide which apps to put on it. I don't always find what I am looking for though. I just hold off until later on, or another day, as there are always new ones added. It really is fund to play games on it, and I can play for hours, if only the battery would last that long. It doesn't, but I just play as long as I can. Take care, and have a very good day.
