I usually add fruits to salads like mangoes, grapes and pomelos. They really go well with lettuce, cucumbers and feta cheese. For the dressing I just toss them with a light olive oil and lemon juice, and don't forget the salt and pepper! :D

There are all sorts of things you can do to a salad to make them taste good. Personally I like to add pasta to make it more wholesome. Another thing to do it to make your own dressings to jazz it up a little, or how about grating in some apple to add sweetness? I also love a good potato salad with tuna.

I agree with the first comment. I love salads. Waht I put on them depends on my mood, I always start with a mixture of romaine and mixed salad greens. Personally, I like cucumbers and tomatoes and then I add whatever veggies on top that are on sale. Sometimes I'll top it with sliced black olives and a little bit of feta cheese. I also like spinach salad. I put sliced red onion on top. I fry up some veggie bacon and heat it in Italian dressing and pour it over the top. Yummy.

There is no magic salad that tastes better than any other salads. To me, you can make any salad delicious by just putting in the things that you like. I used to hate salads, but now I love them as I figured out what I like in salads and what I do not. It is different for every person as they have different tastes. My wife used to put cheese in the salads years ago and I did not realise that this was one thing I did not like until I stopped having the cheese on them. I like to have lots of greens, especially lettuce as it is really refreshing. I do not like too many tomatoes or carrots, but I like a few. I like to have a dressing on there as well as some spices like Jalepeno peppers or Capers to give it a little bit of a kick. I also like to have capsicum on a salad too.
