Hi Folks
I have been noticing a large red tiger cat
lurking around the pasture and barns...
I have too many rescues right now to take on another...
But can I sleep if I don't at least set out food?
Why do people throw living creatures out like trash
expecting someone else to clean up after their mistake?
Could you just ignor a hungry creature??
In case you all haven't already guessed my pain level is extremely
high today and I'm a bit whiney!!!

If you can not take on another rescue I would not suggest setting out food. That will just ensure that he keeps coming back, and in that case he would be yours since you are consistently providing food and water. Are there any facilities in your area that you can call to come pick it up and try to get it adopted into a good home?

I would at least feed the cat.I hate when people ditch their pets like that,I don't understand why they can't just find a home for it.I had a couple of pets that didn't work out for me,but I went out of my way to find them homes though.I found them good homes, because I was a little picky, because I don't want them with the wrong person.I cannot see just dumping it off somewhere's to get rid of it.I hope who ever dumps the pet off, never owns another one.

I am an animal lover though I am not particularly a cat person since I prefer dogs. However I fail to understand why people bring in pets than throw them out when they are fed up of them. This is an irresponsible behavior, which I really condemn. Such pets become stray and are exposed to illness, hunger or get ran over by cars. I hope that you ll feel better. Take care of yourself.

We don't have any new strays right now but it won't be long, the Christmas kittens
loose their appeal about now and need to be fixed, as soon as money is required they get dumped. I would love to get a license number or something to identify
the people responsible, I make sure their names and pictures were put in front of the communities as the pitiful human beings they are.

I have always been an adopter of strays. No, I couldn't bear to see a hungry, sick or lost animal without doing something to help it. Can't tell you the number of times I have gone to get someone's horse wandering too close to a busy highway, gone out in storms when I have seen a lost, frightened dog running up and down the street and, once, helped a newly born abandoned calf. I would have had to help the tiger cat too. I am sorry you are hurting and I'm guessing you will end up taking the animal in or at least calling someone to relocate it to somewhere it can get a regular meal without it getting itself into trouble.

A large red tiger cat? I'd love to see that.
Hope your pain subsides soon and you're back to your sunshiney self.
