Wow, this is where it gets tough. I have two matches I really enjoy from "Mania 8. Bret Hart vs. Roddy Piper for the I/C Title and Randy Savage vs. Ric Flair for the WWE Championship. Both matches in my eyes are classics but I have to give the nod to Flair-Savage. The drama leading up was awesome and so was the match. What about you?

This was about a 4 star wrestlemania maybe even 4 1/2 stars. Roddy and Bret stole the show in my eyes though. Two of my favourite old school wrestlers had a solid match.

This was quite the great Wrestlemania. Well it was mostly because of the two matches that you mentioned, but still those were a great two matches. In fact, it's hard to think of what was the better two match Wrestlemania. This one or 10. A tough choice to be sure. I did like Randy Savage and Ric Flair just a bit better. I have said it before, if there is anyone more deserving of the title "Mr. Wrestlemania" as much or more than Shawn Michaels, it would be the Macho Man. Another great match. Piper and the Hitman was great as well and significant in the fact that this might be the final great match in the prime of the Hot Rod. A passing of the torch in many ways and it lead to Bret winning his first championship six months later. Honorable mention other than those two, well I have to say, not a lot on this card was great. However, the Undertaker and Jake Roberts would be a distant third of my favorite matches on that card. 2-0 for the Deadman and the end of the evil Snake. Tombstone on the floor as well, can't really beat that. Also, this Wrestlemania had my favorite commentary team of all time, Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan. I think 1992 might have been the Brain at his best, between this and Ric Flair in the Royal Rumble. So yeah a solid show, but mostly because of two matches.
