I don't know people have to experiment beyond what natural impregnation can do. For those who don't know, Artificial Insemination is a process by which a male sperm is place in a female reproductive tract for impregnation purposes. Couples in favor of Artificial Insemination are usually those couple who cannot bear a child due to the inability of the husband to produce enough sperm count for impregnation. What do you think?

There is a college near my home that teaches artificial insemination of livestock. It's terrific for farmers because they may have a lot of cows they want impregnated and the bull may not be able to cope or, they may not even own a bull. I'm all for it. I'm for it with people too. There may be a lot of reasons why a couple can't get pregnant and turns to invitro fertilisation. I think it is great that couples desperate for a child can have this done.

I am for it when it comes to livestock. This is all about business. But for people, this is a risky case. I don't ever want to see people growing up from being a product of artificial insemination. It's an insult. There might be psychological effects on the test tube baby. I fear about it.

Childless couples that conceive through either AI or IVF must feel really blessed. Techniques in IVF have come a long way and I think AI is pretty straightforward. Of course, good old insemination the natural way is always best.

I don't have any problem with it. I personally knew a man that was sterile and had this treatment. There are potential side effects, though not like headaches or anything of the kind but the possibility of many many children, like John and Kate plus 8(sucks they divorced though).

But don't you think that artificial way of producing life is a violation to the right of the child to live. I mean, what would eventually the child feels if he grows up later and get to know that he is an offspring not of natural impregnation but artificial? It must make a big impact towards the growth of the child. Besides, we may not know what health risks are in store as the baby lives.

But the child should be thankful for that, he or she was given the chance to live even if it is through artificial creation. :)

Some people have problems having children naturally and so they have to turn to AI to get pregnant. I see no harm in it. Many couples want children and this is one of the ways to get it.

For me it is an option to be parents and try to have a family in a simple way, many people is sterile so this is only an option to have a family .But some families after the kid is alive and born the problems start there , the parents who are going to have an artificial insemination needs to be prepare , you know take some teraphies about this and all effects it could happen after the kid will born .
