SZEKESFEHERVAR, Hungary, Nov 15 (Reuters) - Hungary edged Canada 1-0 in a scrappy friendly on Wednesday with Tamas Priskin's first-half goal separating the sides.
Priskin glanced in Gyorgy Sandor's free kick after 36 minutes to hand caretaker manager Peter Varhidi a first and only victory.
Varhidi took charge after Peter Bozsik was fired last month and the Hungarian FA are set to name a successor.
Canada's best chance was spurned by Tomas Radzinski who blazed over from six metres.
