This is straight forward enough, so I won't go into to many gory details. I need some information, and I would be very grateful if anyone could help me. Straight to the point - I need to know if (and how) and can incorporate my reference link into a discussions URL.
The Story - Normally, the way I come to MyLot is through my email, and notice that a friend started a discussion or the daily digest, and when I am here, I will check out the home page or maybe ask something, or post a discussion sometimes. Today however, I read one discussion, about a topic that I am quite passionate about, and I desired to share this with Facebook, and I did just that. After posting I got to thinking to myself, man, I should have used my referral link. But, then, it wouldn't have taken them to the post I wanted...
So, any thoughts, is it really as simple as http://www.myLot.com?ref=CJscott/w/discussions/2266094.aspx
Which I though of just after, or is a bit more complicated or what? I love to share MyLot and share what I learn everywhere. But, a little extra icing is nice too. You know what I mean?
Thank you so much for your time and knowledge, I greatly appreciate you all.

Yes, it really is that simple.
You can promote your own discussions, your own profile or any other page of myLot just by adding your own referral link to the end of the URL pointing to the page that you are promoting.
It must be added at the end and if you were promoting this dicsussion the link would be:
http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2266109.aspx?ref=CJscott
Open it in your browser to see it
I promote my profile in this way on several other sites - and it works!

Oh yes!
I think we all forgot to mention that in the 'bugs' discussion too!

I would call that a related matter Lamb. I would also suggest mentioning it now, better late then never as my mom was oh so fond of saying growing up...
And Mysdianait, Thank you so much, I was putting it, before the discussion amendments, not at the end, and it wasn't working for me, I figured it would be something simple that I couldn't see cause I think too much.
Forever Grateful.
I appreciate both of you a lot.
