Do you watch the news when you get up?

If I get up before my husband goes to work, I will sit downstairs and have my breakfast and we watch the news. He waits for the traffic report to decide if he will go one route or the other to work and we see the weather. If he is already gone I don't bother to turn the TV on as it is a monitor,digital box and speakers.I just cant be bothered to switch it all on for 5 minutes of viewing and then switch it all off again. Then I will wait for the evening news.

I'm exactly like that too, either I open the newspaper app on my phone while I'm in bed and waking up or I just wait till I have my breakfast ready to turn on the TV and listen to the news, sometimes there isn't anything really interesting so I just turn to other channels but usually the second choice is Mtv :) I like to keep myself informed It's good to know what's happening around, but we should always look with a critic eye to the news because many times the media can let us belive what they want us to belive.

Right now, I am avoiding the news like some kind of deadly plague. It is just too depressing and I really think that it's not good for me to hear about all of the bad in the world. Granted that's what gets interest and the ratings, but still it can be a bit much at times. Just avoiding it for a while and maybe I'll go back to slowly checking it out. Granted it's not going to be completely positive but perhaps in time, I can tolerate it better. I did use to check out the news every morning. Much to my regret on many of those mornings. I was kind of watching it out of the corner of my eye as I got ready for school. Not really paying attention but also paying attention. Most of the stuff I normally get when I do is from the Internet and thus even if I was paying attention to the news, it would not be on television.

no i dont do it everyday . because i will find no time to do in the morning when i get up . i find it tough to get up and catch the train and thus i cant watch the news in the morning . i will read the newspaper in the morning but i will mostly read newspaper too in the evenings only . i will come and watch news and read newspaper in the evenings mostly . . .

hi! no, i don't watch it, just because I don't have any time to do it. i get up early in the morning and must go at the university and that's why can't watch it!

I watch a news everyday, always on morning and evening. I can't imagine my life without news, the news for me is very important life's part. It's like a hobby watching a news. On morning I make a breakfast and then watch a news while eating. On the evenings do the same, only change make a dinner!

I do not watch the news generally as it doesn't interest me that much. I will usually watch the weather If I think about it or get up in enough time to catch it before the news goes off for the morning. I also don't drink coffee that much!
