Getting Annoyed

Hello, Donna. Welcome to the club! We're all so sick of these, that we regularly make fun of them, particularly in the p.e. (Private Eye) interest. We've had some great fun, seeing what discussions we can come up with to give a different slant on the pizza/ ice cream discussions. You've missed one out though - there's the 'do you like tea or coffee' one as well. It helps to have a sense of humour with these. Yes, people post for the sake of it, because they mistakenly believe they get paid for every discussion they post. If only they'd read the guidelines.

I think they are doing it for the sake of it, although mylot does tend to delete repeating posts if it's reported as that's not allowed, especially in the same groups. But some people are too lazy to look for it so they think they'll just get more by asking all over again *shrugs*

Some are doing that. Some are new and don't realize that those things have been posted a gazillion times. The ones who are doing it for the sake of just posting anything aren't doing themselves or their friends any favors, since they will probably end up being deleted.

I guess they don't think about anything but making money, and mylot is more than that. It is so sad too, as htey really arent' getting out of mylot what they should, but then they aren't putting anything into it either, so they resally won't get a thing out of it. I never go into the food category, but sounds like users are doing the same thing there as they are in this category and others. What really peeves me is when the same user will post one discussion after another and that happens averyday. Now, I know that as much posting as they do, they certainly can't keep up with all of them, and I am sure they probably don't either. I just wish the ones doing this would read the rules and guidelines first before posting, so they save themselves a lot of trouble of getting their discussions deleted. The thing of it is when that happens, it all becomes a waste of time anyway. Maybe one of these days they will learn, when they don't earn anything. Good luck to you an dhappy mylotting.
