WOW!!! What a great question. I for one think that it should be and let me tell you why. 1. It would cut down on the amount of people in prison doing time for possession when we could use the space for more deserving people. 2. It has never been proven to be harmful to anyone. 3. It would be a great source of revenue for the government. Tax it just like booze. 4. Golfer69 I have to disagree with you. In fact some of the most imaginative people in the world were users. Jimmy Henrix is a good example, Bob Marley comes to mind as well. 5. Lastly, I personnely have no use for the stuff but I tell ya. People should have the right to choose if they want to be pot heads or not. After all it is a plant! It grows naturally, just like cigerettes so who are we to say what people should and should not smoke.

In Canada, you can smoke it like a cig. But in the USA, you have to be prescribe.

not true. you can't just smoke it like a cig. its just alot easier to get a doctor to prescribe it to you in canada. they do it for things such as sleep disorder and stress and of course cancer and other life threatning diseases.

From your responses golfer, I can't tell which side of the plant you're on. You say no, but your responses say yes. And half the people that drink, smoke? Come on now, do you really believe that many?

No imagination? LOL.... why some of the most imaginative people in the world openly admit to smoking grass. In fact one might say that smoking a little ganja would help the imagination thrive. By letting go of the inhibitions, daily problems, and the stress of everday life, the imagination is allowed to run free! Should people be imprisoned for using/posessing pot? No. That in itself is a crime against humanity. Good people are rotting in jail for having a plant that grows freely mostly all over the world. A plant! Weed is not evil. Weed is not bad. The media loves the weed. The laws are evil and are there to produce a source of income for Courts, towns, doctors, hospitals, lawyers, police, etc... Legalize It. Don't criticize it. (B. Marley)

I think it should be legalized for medical use. Because it benefits certain people with health conditions, like Multiple Sclerosis. But that's it, don't think it should be legalized for recreational use.

I think it should be legalised .. less people in prison, it can be medicinal, less side effects than booze and cigs. I don't smoke it anymore but it would've been nice to feel like a criminal when I did. BTW.. pot has only been decriminalised in the UK, not legalised... so if your found with a small amount on you for personal use it's not such a big deal.

No it shouldn't be legalized, for people will use it for easy money earning and hence, a lot of teen-agers and individuals will get hoooked and be adicted to it. And that will result to a broken and wasted life.

I do think it should be legalized,.... ONLY if you have cancer. And it helps with the pain. Other then that NO.

No, why legalize it now, so many people do it and get caught and put in jail, why tell them they can do it legally now.
