The COMELEC is busy as bee preparing for the first computerized election in Philippines on May 2010. They are not yet finish disseminating information and testing the computers, and it's already March. Are we ready for the computerized election? How many votes will be valid/invalid? If you were to choose, would you go for the modern yet unknown to many computerized election or the usual manual election?
I think we're not yet ready for computerized election. It would take us so much time to look for the candidate that we will vote and shade the corresponding circle. Very tasky, I'm sure election day will be a very long and tiring day.

Well if not now when. We should start the automation so that we will learn from the way things are for us. If we keep on delaying things for the sake that we are not ready we will never be in the coming days. I think this is historic event for us and it will be a good or not good election but I guess we should start by now or else this will be another manual voting that may come up with another rigged results.

I think this will be a big challenge for COMELEC and for the whole nation. This coming May will be the result of this first ever computerization attempt of the Philippine election.
Tho, I am a bit unsure/shaky when it comes to computerizing our election, given the fact that it seems the implementation is quite rushed and early demo voting did not produce a flawless result... well, goodluck to us all!

hello shy,
it has to be computerized, otherwise, the same line of cheating might happen again way back, 2004. i don't want that to happen again! besides,we have to be wise now, it's crisis and we can't risk loosing further down simply because the western's economy is wearing down, we have to be independent. we need a leader that knows how to solve our problems.

I have just registered as a voter last Dec 28 so this coming election would be my first time to vote. Im glad that it will be computerized bcuz it seem faster than manual. It may sound complicated to most people but I guess during the election we would be guided on what to do by the personnel in charge so I should not worry much.
